HICKORY CREEK WILDERNESS RANCH is easy to reach.

To Locate us using your GPS, please use the following road intersections:  Economite Road West & Route 337

From the south, Tionesta, Pa, take US Route 62N towards Tidioute, Pennsylvania (approximately 14 miles).  The Tidioute Trading Post, The Cove Restaurant and Moore's Garden Center will be on the left, directly across from the garden center is State Route 337 (now route 3005).  Take a right onto State Route 337 and travel north (approximately 4 miles toward Warren PA.) Turn right on the Economite Road (township 317).  The first drive on the right-hand side of the road (approximately 3/10 of a mile) is the Arena and Stable entrance.  The second drive on the right-hand side is the campground entrance.

From the north, Warren, Pa, take US Route 6W to US Route 62S towards Tidioute, Pennsylvania (approximately 15 miles).  Just past Route 127 (Big Blue Bridge), take a left onto State Route 337 directly across from Moore's Garden Center.  Travel north on Route 337 (approximately 4 miles toward Warren PA.) Turn right on the Economite Road (township 317).  The first drive on the right-hand side of the road (approximately 3/10 of a mile) is the Arena and Stable entrance.  The second drive on the right-hand side is the campground entrance.

Area Activities

Our Area ~ Located on the western edge of the Allegheny National Forest, four miles North of Tidioute, Pennsylvania, our 150+ acre ranch is just a stone's throw away from the only congressionally designated wilderness in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania...The Hickory Creek Wilderness Area. Encompassing 8663 acres, this pristine area abounds with many species of wildlife including: white-tailed deer, coyotes, eagles, wild turkeys and black bear.

LOCAL AREA ACTIVITIES

• Hunting - White-tail deer, bear, turkey, small game.
• Fishing - Home of the Pennsylvania State championship fishing tournament, held the last weekend of September.
• ATV's/Four wheelers - Miles of designated trail nearby
• Boating - Three nearby reservoirs. Rentals available.
• Canoeing - Five to forty mile trips on the peaceful Allegheny River.
• Golfing - Four nearby public courses.
• Hiking - Miles of marked trails in the Hickory Creek Wilderness Area and surrounding Allegheny National Forest.
• Skiing - Normally abundant snowfalls make this a great way to explore our area. Nearby downhill skiing at Peek N' Peek Resort or Holiday Valley.
• Snowmobiling - 300 miles of groomed trails. Rentals available nearby.
• Sight-seeing  - Two nearby train rides, shop, visit the nearby Amish communities, spectacular wildlife and beautiful foliage.
